Autonomous lounge on wheels concept automobile from Audi

April 20, 2022: -Audi has recently added “lounge on wheels” to its recent portfolio of electric concept vehicles designed to portray the vision of German automakers for the future of transportation in automobiles.

The company’s recent “Urbansphere” concept was designed for travelers in rich, dense traffic areas like China as a third living space and mobile office.

The vehicle is created to be capable of driving itself in most situations

like Audi’s previous “sphere” concepts. The latest vehicle is taller than the other concepts, blurring the line between a large crossover and minivan, or “multipurpose vehicle,” which creates more space and is popular in China.

“Designers and engineers created the Audi Urbansphere for use in traffic-dense Chinese megacities, although the concept is suitable for any other metropolitan city globally,” Audi said in a release. “In these urban areas, where personal space is in short supply, in particular, the concept car offers the largest interior space of any Audi to date.”

The Urbansphere’s interior continues trends from Audi’s different concepts. It features a modern design with wood and technologically advanced features like a stowaway steering wheel and a large video display across the front instrument panel of the vehicle’s interior.

According to Audi, the term “sphere” is meant to symbolize the interior space of the vehicles for drivers and passengers.

Automakers use concept vehicles to gauge customer interest or show the future direction of a car or brand. The cars are not meant to be sold to consumers.

By late 202, the alarm bells were just starting to ring. Researchers discovered that Russian spies had months earlier burrowed deep into the networks of several U.S. federal networks. The spies, working for Russia’s foreign intelligence service, had first targeted SolarWinds, an IT company whose software helps to remotely manage the networks of thousands of businesses, Fortune 500 organizations and federal government agencies.
