
General Election Set for July: Sunak vs. Starmer Showdown Begins

A total of 142,277 Sample 3 sedans and 292,855 Model Y vehicles could be impacted by the issue in which software is defective and stops the rear lights on the automobile from illuminating, stated to China’s State Administration for Market Regulation.
The regulators added that this poses a safety hazard for drivers. The previous month, Tesla recalled over 321,000 vehicles in the U.S. over a similar issue.
Tesla will generate software updates remotely to fix the problem.
Technical issues scale for Tesla in China. The U.S. electric carmaker announced a recall of over 80,000 cars in China in the previous week over seatbelt and software issues.
China is one of Tesla’s significant essential markets. The firm has a large production plant in Shanghai and selling a record number of China made-cars in the latest months.
But Elon Musk’s automaker is facing tougher competition from domestic rivals, which include Warren Buffett-backed BYD and startups, which include XPeng, Nio and Li Auto. And in 2023, electric carmakers plan to release a slew of exciting vehicles.
