February 14, 2023: -On Thursday, Jeep revealed its numerous expensive Wrangler SUV, completing over $115,000.
On Wednesday, the limited-edition vehicle, the Wrangler Rubicon 392, 20th Anniversary with heavy-duty off-road areas customization from upfitter American Expedition Vehicles.
Just 150 of the AEV SUVs will be shown as part of a broader 20th Anniversary collection of Wrangler’s popular Rubicon model. Automakers like Stellantis, Jeep’s parent company, have tested their pricing power on the back and special-edition models.
“We also test a different level, but the aftermarket will be doing that now,” Jim Morrison, senior vice president and Jeep brand North America head, said during a talk show at the Chicago Auto Show. “Capability is the king for Wrangler, and we are seeing it was happening a lot more, and we are gratified to be a part of it.”
Over different others in the automotive industry, Jeep owners are well-known to added massive amounts of accessories and aftermarket parts to their SUVs.
The new auto is powered by a V8 engine regarding 470 horsepower and 470 pounds-feet of torque that can rev 0-60 mph in about 4.5 seconds, according to the firm.
Off-road parts include 37-inch tires, unique AEV lights, bumpers, skip plates, shocks, and different equipment for scaling rocks and rough terrain.
A plug-in hybrid electric type of the 20th Anniversary Wrangler Rubicon SUV beginning at $71,380. The record-breaking $115,668 price is for the Jeep-AEV vehicle. Without the extra off-roading capability, the 2023 Wrangler Rubicon 392 20th Anniversary vehicle starts at $94,485. All pricing includes logistics and destination fees.
Every vehicle feature special-edition styling and badging for the 20th Anniversary of the Rubicon models, named after a renowned trail in California. They include a new seven-slot grille, bead-lock-capable wheels, an 83-piece tool kit and other features.
Ordering for the vehicles will start, according to Jeep. They are anticipated to arrive in Jeep dealerships in the second quarter.
